Most instructions begin with a scoping call to confirm we can act (a conflict check against our existing client list) followed by a fixed-fee proposal for defined pieces of work, such as drafting a shareholder agreement, or an hourly-rate estimate for open-ended matters like a live acquisition. Corporate transactions typically run 6 to 14 weeks from heads of terms to completion, depending on due diligence findings.
