Business owners facing a supplier dispute, a departing partner taking clients with them, or a competitor's false statements about their products; and individuals who need a defamatory statement corrected or compensated. We take a small number of matters at a time rather than running high volumes through junior fee-earners.
We advise on merits and likely costs exposure before any letter before action goes out. Where proceedings are necessary, Marcus Whitfield remains the named partner on the file throughout, from pre-action correspondence through to trial or settlement. Most commercial damages claims resolve at mediation or through negotiated settlement before a trial date is reached.
